Scary isn't it - It must have been around that time I saw them at Hammersmith Palais. It was being filmed and there was a cameraman in the front row (way before the days of barriers, security and press pits) with a full size television camera. He lasted about 10 seconds until he had to be rescued by roadies.

I did the festival solo in 2012 and had a great time. Got chatting to some lovely neighbours,  saw an absolute shit load of bands and just generally had a fabulous time. You'll love it.

You do see so much more on your own - I have to agree. Here's my flying  solo video - gives the impression I must have been rushing around trying to see everything, but it didn't feel like that at the time

Just in case I hadn't mentioned it, I'm going again this year only taking the wife for company (that's her in the picture).  We will be dressed as The Blues Brothers occasionally. It was absolutely brilliant last year. See you down the front for Black Uhuru!

You now get weather for the week ahead that goes right through the following weekend and on Sunday's  the BBC kindly posts it on their web site mid afternoon so we don't have to wait for Countryfile etc any more.
