Reckon we might get a fairly big name on Friday. Gonna go for Kendrick subbing Rihanna.

The Cranberries are announcing dates in August, but I'm not sure if Chokri would book a band like them nowadays with the new direction he has given to the festival big names, after booking bands like Nine Inch Nails or Neil Young a few years ago

Sziget just released the line up to their deep house/minimalist club (the colosseum) so we'll probably get some of these names.

I think Sia will sub for Rihanna since she'll be in Europe in August and she's pretty big.

Still hoping we get some more good DJs and maybe Selah Sue and Oh Wonder.

By the way, what time does the party end in Pukkelpop and when do they kick you out of the festival site?

Some really nice names in the Sziget announcement, would love to see Sasha and Digweed at PKP but doubt it will happen.

Not convinced we'll get any more 'big' names but agree that if we do Sia will be about the height of it.

Main Stages close at 2am Thurs and Fri (1am Sat) but the Boiler goes on until 4am every night (including Wednesday). International DJs finish at 2am and local ones finish off each night, with Saturday always being Michael Midnight.

I think that insead Fall Out Boy, they will announce Good Charlotte. Cheaper than the former, they were supposed to play the storm year some months before calling it quits, and they've just reunited. It's the typical PKP booking and maybe Reading/Leeds had payed for annoucing them first.

Why are Frank Turner and Frank Carter ruled out?

Good shout on Good Charlotte.

No big names. Although some decent additions.

I think we can safely assume that we'll be getting the remaining sub headliners from RW.

Anne-Marie's pretty good - saw her a couple of times last year with Rudimental. A few of the others look like they're worth a listen so will do a bit of research.

Got at least 20 acts each day already but most of them are DJs and live dance bands. Could do with a few more guitar bands but still got quite a few albums to listen to.

I'm so happy with NOFX and Marky Ramone. In my opinion this year is the best line-up for me since the storm year. Shelter Stage will be great again with names as NOFX, Opeth, Marky Ramone, Thrice, Mastodon, Refused, Beach Slang, Neurosis or Comeback Kid instead of shitty metalcore...

Good for Chokri for making that stage great again.

Be interesting to see where the two new stages are, I suspect they might be in the Petit Bazaar and the eco area near the entrance. Conceivable though that The Booth is somewhere near the Dance Hall, provided that's still where it normally is. Might be all change this year?

Just had a quick scan through the bios of the artists playing in The Booth and there's quite a mix of genres and nationalities. Thought it would all be Belgian DJs but I'm impressed by the range on offer. Hunee, Denis Sulta and Fritz Wentink all sound decent but will probably be more a case of wandering past to see who's on when I've got some down time.

Petit Bazaar is a wasted area after 8pm so my guess is that the Booth at least will be in there.

Is there much overlap of artists from Rock Werchter and Pukkelpop?

Not a massive amount, but theres been a few Pukkelpop headliners or sub headliners from the RW line up that is announced nearer the time of RW or after it. Alt-J were that band last year.

I think there will be two PP sub headliners from the RW line up. I think it's very possible that any out of Iggy Pop, New Order, Foals or Disclosure will be announced.

Last year: Enter Shikari, Alt-J, De Jeugd Van Tegenwoordig, Christine & The Queens, The Last International and Tout Va Bien

This year: Bazart and Mura Masa, so i'm expecting some more will follow, Foals will be my first guess, but BMTH, Iggy, LSP, are possible to i guess.

If you look at Pukkelpop's Spotify playlist that they put on Snapchat there's a Selah Sue song, does this mean she's coming?

And also on their Snapchat they put a song over Jamie XX's album art for In Colour so?..

Wouldn't read too much into it. The Selah Sue song is a collaboration with Maverick, who is already on the lineup. It's probably just the most appealing Maverick song they could pick for Belgian audiences. And I doubt Jamie XX will play since he did Pukkelpop last year, is doing Werchter this year and hasn't got any European dates listed around that time.
