eFestivals Posted August 20, 2015 Report Share Posted August 20, 2015 Yep, tho it's about 10 years since I have. You get into the hospitality area which has a bar and perhaps a food outlet or two. You cannot see the stage from the area as there are big fences. There is usually a couple of bars, seating area, squishy sofa's,flushing toilets, and last year there was a large marquee with a bar and DJ's playing, where there was plenty of room to chill when it rained There are food outelts, that are sometimes from well known places - eg Jamies had a place once There's a nice view of Hylands House as well lol There are dj's playing after the stages finish as well - nt sure how long for though. I've used it before just to grab a drink for half an hour and let the crowds clear before going back home (not camping) Thats about it though ! Edited August 20, 2015 by Funkyfairy! Posted August 20, 2015 Report Share Posted August 20, 2015 At Hylands - thsi is how it has been the last few years for sure VIP/Hospitality that you pay for as a ticket upgrade (orange bands this year) is to the back of the V stage (main stage) - by the house and the area that the OP asked about. I've been in there the last 2 years and again this year VIP/Hospitality that you don't pay for is to the side of the MTV Stage (second stage) - and the area that VIP has always been until you could pay your way into a 'VIP' area the last 3 or 4 years. I got escorted through there getting into the festival 3 years ago with a broken leg both days and straight out the other side lol Virgin customer (Our garden) area is behind 'Our House' - been in there as well (like to tour the areas) Neil, if you went years ago the 'main stage' is now the 'second stage' and the smaller of the two Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The 'pay vip' is in the same place, but ' better Vip' moved, infact nothing behind MTV stage , no VIP, Arena tent or fairground. Site is definately smaller !
