Missed out on buying day ticket. Options?

Right so a combination of laziness & ineptitude has left me without a ticket for Friday. Looking at the resale sites I feel they are a bit expensive.

Is it possible to buy tickets at the office on the day?

Also anyone had any luck buying tickets at re-sale sites closer to the date? Thinking may be the price would be cheaper as people rush to get some cash back who can't go?
