I went Reading fest last year but after the headline act finished i just went back to the tent and drank myself to sleep, this year i don't want to do that. What is there apart from the silent disco which i know about that goes on at the festival after the headline acts are over? any recommendations?

There is nothing to do after the main acts have finished, you can if you so wish go and buy 6 pots of noodles from the 100s of noodle bars, take them back to your tent and eat them.

If you want to make a fire and feel like you are "part of a festival" i suggest a box of swan vetsa matches, each one will give you approx 10 seconds of fire, just sit in your tent and light one after the other crying whilst thousands of teenagers with cans of fosters chant things such as "ALAN" and "steve"................. don't by fire wood, even though you say you can light small fires the security are like something out of nazi germany....and they will put it out.

Apart from those two things there really is nothing to do except drink yourself to sleep.......good luck
