Very tempted to go just because I think Reading is going to bump them to headliners and there's no way I'm going back there.

Seeing them at Dreamland in Margate next month and I absolutely cannot wait. One of the best live bands around at the moment. I first saw them pre-first album and they've just got better and better. Don't fancy Wembley myself, mind.

Wembley gets a bad rep but it's nice when they put stuff in north London rather than having to trek on the Jubilee line for an hour. 

I live a stop away from The O2, so thats always a bit of a bias against wembley

 

Ended up getting tickets yesterday in the end, couldn't hold out ..just in case I don't go to a festival they are at next year.

Not got hugely into them but i like the new album and some singles, and am a big fan of Everything Everything so I've taken a chance on two of the £20 seats for Manchester. Time to see what all the fuss is about!

I said was tonight's gig part of the academy tour? Because it's fucking awful if they're only playing 12 songs at a gig that they've charged £30 for. However, I've now found out it was a £10 show that you had to pre-order the album to get tickets for.

They'll play 12/13 songs a night on the academy tour and in the arenas. Their songs are five minutes long and they roll out the extended plinky-plonking for a few of them as well. If you expect different because of how much you've paid then I dunno what to say to you. Go see Springsteen.

Like 4 of the songs they play are over 5 minutes. That isn't long. Fair enough if they do plinky plonky extended shit. Assumed 12 songs would be a really short set, but if it does end up being a normal length for an academy show then fairs.

Looking at that setlist, it's balls that you get a three-song run of My Number>Mountain>Give it All - three worst songs on the last two albums. I thought they'd be blasting the fuck out of AKITO in their live shows too but it's not being played that frequently.

Agree recent setlists aren't majorly thrilling but I'm very excited regardless. Reckon it's going to be a proper good gig.
