It would cost way too much, unless you were planning on stealing clothes from tents. Glasto prices are pretty high.

I've gone in one set of clothes and left in the same set of clothes never having taken them off.

Common practice in the 90s,the Oxfam tent used to do well especially if there was a mudbath.

No, although I have come home with most of the clothes I've taken with me unworn still in my rucksack. As a general rule you need a lot less than you think - enough pants/socks/tshirts for clean every day, a least one warm jumper, and at least one complete change of clothes in case you get wet, but you don't need a clean pair of jeans for every day, for example.

My best friend did this in 2011. I lent him a spare wind sheater when it rained on the Friday night, slept my pop up tent, bought a blazer from the Oxfam charity shop & as it was his birthday I surprised him him with a t-shirt I had brought along with me to wear on the Sunday.

I've done it too at smaller fests but not at Glastonbury, just a couple of changes of pants & socks.

Friend of mine turned up once in the early 90s on his motorbike with absolutely nothing and not a bother on him, though it was dry year. I even found him fast asleep one morning sitting cross legged on a plastic bag, some man.

Did the same myself years ago, slept in the Lounged out Lizards though, the rain leaked a bit on us one night and they apologised and gave us free coffee!!
