why do you honestly care so much? we get it, you used to like T but don't anymore.

Don't you think that festival goers should know about the feral savages that walk amongst them? Is this a T forum? Did I post an article about T? What have you got to contribute?

The answer to that last question is nothing.

Anyways, to the person that said it was the first time they've seen bother, there was plenty in 2013 in the campsite right from the word go. Had all sorts going on basically right across from me in the blue campsite.

What is it with the blue campsite actually?

I never saw any hassle in all my years at T apart from in 2012 where the increase of idiots seemed to have sped up tenfold. I'm surprised you got grief but there's always one muppet going to chops off. Shameful nonetheless. I would say it's more likely these days with the nationalist movement on the up and kids taking god knows what with alcohol. In the old days when rock bands were prevalent everyone was just stoned and happy :)

Yeah mate, let's just ignore the fact that T has a lower crime rate than Glasto and many others aye? You clearly despise the festival and are hell bent on criticising it in any way you can.

Did I enjoy it this year? Not not massively, mainly down to the new site and long walks to arena, but did I have any hassle with anyone? No, everyone friendly as f*ck, just like how it's always been for me.

I'm not your mate silly boy. If you had no hassle at T it suggests that you are a keyboard warrior that probably doesn't call people "a bit of a c**t" to their faces. You are clearly ignorant too. There are people on site at Glastonbury from Tuesday to Monday and there are 150k people there. There were 54 arrests.

http://www.westerndailypress.co.uk/100-crimes-reported-54-arrests-Glastonbury/story-26788852-detail/story.html

T had 60k people from Thurs to Mon. There were also 54 arrests.

I don't know where you went to school but for the rest of us the festival with the lower rate of crime is obvious.

I don't hate T, I love T. I hate what that twat Geoff Ellis is doing to it and think he should be brought to account for it. This is about the only place it's possible. Don't like what I say? Fuck you, don't read it. If T ever put a line up on worth visiting again I'll look you up. You can tell me how much of a c**t I am. It's ok, I don't go round punching or bottling or biting silly little boys. :)

sadly not true.

I managed to meet the not-nice every year but one that I went (I think it was 2000 to 2005), with several of them due to my English accent. ;)

I've never experienced anything similar at the hundreds of other festivals i've been to (tho that's not me pretending that nothing nasty happens at other fests, I know that it does).

Nationality appears to be your agenda. And excuse.

That was (some of) their agenda's you twat.

I was only guilty (to them) of having an English accent in Scotland.

Or is "excuse me, can I get past?" and "a pint of Tennents please" now racist slurs?

FFS, you're defending the racists, and getting close to joining them via blaming their victim as the racist.

I'll never defend a racist and if you were the subject of a racist attack then that's unacceptable. However, I have worked with thousands of English people in Scotland. Several of them (hundreds) have gone to T in the Park either with me or separately. NONE of them have ever been the victim of a racist attack. Not a single one. I have never seen a racist attack either. I have, on the other hand, seen you argue with just about anyone about just about any subject on here. Now I don't suppose for a second that you are one of those cowardly people that gob off on line and are meek as mice in real life, so I am offering a point of view that perhaps your attitude rather than your accent might have been a provocation. It's funny how trouble just seems to follow some people around.

When I was on my way back to my tent there was a group of people on the path chanting about Tottenham. Your in Scotland no-one up here gives a shit about Tottenham.

In a way those Londoners could have been provoking trouble since there are many more Arsenal fans than Spurs. They weren't doing it by there tent they were doing on the path very publicly. Stupid people don't they know Aberdeen is the best team.

English football teams is a werid one at T.

I'm a huge Liverpool fan and on the thursday night walking back from the Slam tent I managed to run into another group of Liverpool fans, ended up going up to their campsite for about 6 hours and having the best night of the festival.

Next day when I had my Liverpool top on got a beer thrown over me and threatened by a group of Utd fans up from Manchester. Risky one.
