Not up yet. My mate builds the stages and they go up in no time so won't be long.

Those trees just look like pish magnets to me, already feeling sorry for the noobs who have a rest under them on the Sunday. Site is definitely looking way smaller than Balado.

Very much doubt they will have any authority to cut down trees that have stood for years.

They have cut ancient trees down across the site but maybe aren't allowed to cut them ones

The only trees that have been cut according to the planning documents are those which are dead or those which impede access to the site.

Interestingly though those two trees in front of the main stage aren't even shown on tree drawings. Like they don't even exist. The one further back is definitely staying.

Judging by the cartoon map, they'll have the Big Red T round about those non-existant trees

They will fence off the trees. Itl be a riot if they let the trees open with everyone climbing them etc. It's a health hazard

Does look pretty small.

 

Rock Werchter was fairly compact in terms of size and it worked ok. Sound crossover was pretty bad if you were at the back of a stage however.

That's why the NME is furthest away from the main - can't see that being too much of a problem. Balado had it a bit anyways.
