I think it's mostly because the site access can't cope with higher numbers, so with smaller numbers things should work a bit more smoothly.

Plenty acts (mostly smaller) just announced. Stand out for me is Basement playing on Saturday. Hellllll yes.

Not sure if this happened a while ago and I just missed it but I see Faithless and Major Lazer have swapped round on the poster, I guess that makes Faithless more likely for third down rather than subbing which some people thought.

Are stage splits and stage times announced in advance at all or is it guesswork until the programmes/lanyards are o sale?

Usually get stage splits maybe a week before the event. Times are all guesswork until someone gets a lanyard on the Thursday
