It's looking closer to these or Muse. That's Coldplay out anyway. So you have Flo with Calvin on Saturday probably and Muse or SP on Sunday. No wonder they needed to make sure they got The Roses. It"s pretty decent for Glasto if only them have Coldplay.

I can't see it being Snow Patrol, as that would be two of the same headliners as in 2012.

Frequent repeat headliners don't, but I think two from the same year would be going too far, even for T

Snow Patrol surely aren't seen as a headliner anymore?

If its not Muse, Kol or Mumford then maybe someone less expected? Eminem, Rihanna, The Who, U2 (massively unlikely).

Think it'd be more likely to be SP before Calvin and Flo outright on the Sunday.

But then again I'd have thought the same about Noel and The Libs this year.

We shouldn't really assume its definitely Florence before a DJ. She could well do the Sunday. Plenty of people could go on before the Saturday DJ.

Yup, I'd agree with you on the top line of that, Flo could easily close Sunday and smash it. I also agree that The Libs closing Sunday and Noel before Avicii would have made the lineup look strong. 

Something just tells me that it won't be Muse at T. Saying no wonder they went all in for The Roses, I actually think them and Flo are two great headliners. Calvin could close it on his own without needing to be a later night booking to be fair but if I was SP and got offered under them I'd take it, it's a sellout day you're playing lol.

Saw them for a bit at Glasto few years back and they didn't cut it on a big outdoor stage.  As for snow patrol, they're surely way off headline status these days.

Considering the gap in Coldplay's tour, looks like Glasto is a dead cert, but they also finish pre-T..still a possibility?

Stereophonics have an announcement tonight about next summer. One of the few acts I would happily see at T every year. 

 

Dont think theres an anniversary of anything next year, and they haven't begun their winter tour yet so it would be odd to announce a summer one now.

 

Im guessing T, BST, IOW, or a European fest

BST or IOW. Doubt T would be a special announcement since they played this year. They take up too high of a slot to play every year.

The Cure would be an amazing booking for T but that and V would be the most unlikely festivals to book them out of the big ones in UK. The crowd T attracts watching The Cure? I just can't see it.

It's an absurd thing to even have to ask but would they headline? Like, surely they'd only take a headline slot, but are they big enough among the T crowd? I would have to say no.

Certainly wouldn't be popular with the crowd T has now. The only way they would be is if they announced them along with an unexpected type of lineup where a whole new (old) crowd was attracted. As it stands, they would probably fill King Tuts against a poppier act.

Be very surprised if they played, I heard from someone a couple of years ago who worked for df concerts, that they had made offers to the cure in the past to play and that they had turned down the offers

The Cure are headliners or nothing. So obviously they're not booked.

Pre 2011 The Cure would have been a brilliant booking. Can't see it now. But then again, build it and they will come. We live in hope.
