No kids and not religious but Christmas tree is up!  Is only a fake one but I like the twinkly lights :D

I've always been the same up until a couple of years ago, now I do have a kid and still put a tree up!  I think they're lovely.  I also put lights up in the window, as it's my way of doing my bit for Christmas for the street.

Actually, I did miss putting the tree up last year, the tree is in our loft and we have a wobbly ladder, so needed three people in the house to get the tree down ( one for climbing, one for holding the ladder and one for making sure the toddler didn't kill herself).  This year we're going to get the tree down anyway, the child can look after herself for a few minutes!

Why not? Should there be a reason for two people to get together. And why should every detail be recorded on t'internet?

No tree , and very few gifts this year ... Am going away instead and getting away from the commercialism of Christmas

If I spend Christmas here I am a sucker for being sucked into 'needing ' glittery macarons , or 400 varieties of cheese for 2 days .. Spend a small fortune on stuff just because it's looks Christmassy, I am an advertisers dream ... Strange really as it only happens during the festive period

anyway spending the pennies going away and it feels invigorating :-)

I would love to go away for Christmas! I'd like to be skiing very fast down a very white slippery mountain. Never gonna happen though. I have to work Christmas Day.  Have a fab time FF. Where are you off to?

My twinkly lights went to twinkly light heaven last year. I must get some more! I love the twinkly lights. I'm not fussed about a tree (havent got room really anyway) but I do love the lights. White ones. Or pink. Or maybe blue. Hmmm.....

CG! Hello! I keep meaning to message you but life and all that gets in the way sometimes. Are you ok?

Morning all, what beautiful things are we up to today.....come on, let's have some gorgeous tales and spread some smiles. Doesn't have to be anything big.

I'll start you all off........I shall be eating sandwiches made by my hubby.....that makes me smile.

Morning Dee

today I shall be grocery shopping, visiting Specsavers, buying a large Christmas gift bag ( my Christmas shopping will be complete) and collecting an intriguing parcel from the sorting office. I then may drink wine and get stuff ready for the weekend. Have a lovely day x

Great to see you back CG.

Well that was a busy day, managed to get all the windows painted and repaired, which has hopefully saved us lots of ££

i was nice to have a dry day, we even saw the sun this morning, glad it's not been extinguished by all the r@1n.

looking at all the pictures of Christmas decs and trees has made me add another thing to the list of jobs "find decs which are somewhere buried in the depths of the garage".

HMV your tree looks fab :)
