Ignore the quote thingy box, no idea what went on there.

Anyway, not one for regularly posting on this thread, more of a lurker/smiler but I thought you I'd share some news......(Also posted on things that make you hp thread)

"My wonderful daughter getting her dream job as an ICU nurse! Went for interview this morning, just had the offer this afternoon, starts next Oct upon successful graduation of her nursing degree.

If you only knew the journey she has been on to get to this point; there isn't a dry oneeye in the house. :):)

Off out to celebrate!!"

Dog walked, red wine flowing, stepping out for a celebratory meal and more drinks; work could be a tad fuzzy tomorrow, but who gives a flying fig :)

Enjoy your evening lovely peeps X X

Congrats to your daughter....enjoy the celebrations :)

Well my dad made his inital enquires into getting a mortgage to buy the house and got knocked back.... his own bank reckons he can only get about 18k but it'll cost just over 26k

Wish id been more responsible with my cash in my younger days so i could help out....im happy to pay for the house and its very affordable but my credit rating is so bad theres no way i can get a loan to help him

Still that was only the first hurdle theres still options available hopefully

Evening all :)

i love Lyme Regis at this time of year. Chips on the seafront, cakes from the bakery, walking along the sea wall, splashing and searching in the rock pools, and collecting driftwood for crafty projects. Chilly but bright, with clear air so we could see all the way to Portland. Lovely stuff!

We have indeed, my friend. Thanks.

Hope you and your dad get things sorted soon.

We will, he also found out today that they're probably going to stop his heart failure nurse appointments because theres nothing more they can do for him which is ashame as they often pick up on things when he's ill because he doesnt like going to the doctors
