Did you notice that Laura Mvula is also present at Glastonbury?

No, not in real life...

 

But a registration of her concert with the Dutch Metropole Orchestra in Paradiso Amsterdam will be shown at the Pilton Palais Cinema on Thursday, 17:30.

 

I attended this concert last year, and this was the highlight of the year for me. Highly recommended!

I had a moment watching her in 2013. Me and the wife were on our way to the circus field and had decided to cut across the pyramid. As we were approaching the field I was telling my wife about this amazing singer I'd watched on the iow highlights on sky arts but couldn't remember her name, it was infact Laura Mvula, who just happened to be mid set as we entered the field. The circus field was put on hold for half an hour, the joy resonating from the pyramid field while she was playing was amazing

Watching the BSL interpreter signing 'Green Garden' was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen.

I watched them signing prof green "read all about it" to some fans on the Friday. I'm not a big prof green fan, my wife wanted a rest when he was on, afterwards she said to me "you had a moment then, didn't you ", it was stunning

We saw the movie in Pilton Palais and it really was great. Anyone else there as well? I even managed to get 1 of the 10 Festival essentials goodie bags that Laura assembled herself and were handed out by her manager.
