Does Genosys have any capacity restrictions or does the fact that it's (sort of) an outside stage mean that you can't get shut out from the busier acts?

It got really busy last year at times (was my most attended late night venue) but I never saw any restrictions. I guess they may shut the main entrance to block 9 off if it got too hectic

Even when Block 9 was absolutely chokka, mostly full of people congregating near the Downlow trying (in vain) to get in , you could always get through to the Genosys dance area near the DJ box. Never seemed to have any restrictions on it at all, a lot of people just mooching through there on the way to Shangri La.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I remember the field being closed off once or twice, but not regularly and once you're in there you can move about the field as you want.

How well known Ceronne to the average glasto goer? I'd love to be there but now also concerned it will be stupidly busy, I had though that Jesus would draw a lot of the crowd away but looking at the clashfinder it looks like they're not on at the same time.

There's loads on around that time dance wise though. Pierre is on at downlow, 2 bad mice London underground, ed solo at heaven, ewan pearson at beat hotel and Matt black of coldcut at the temple. Such a packed Thursday this year I reckon you'll be fine

on the thursday last year they stopped letting people into block9 in general. because i remember them closing the fences on us.

I also fancy a bit of Cerrone, but also drawn to Ideotape who are on at the same time but about a billion miles away in Silver Hayes. See what happens on the night I guess.

Hmm...so it sounds like venue itself will be fine, but there's a ton of stuff going to be on in the other places in the field and they'll close that off if it gets busy.
