Car park ticket, online or at gate, opening times, and east/west choice

Hello!

A few questions up front with reasons after...

1. Is it better to buy car parking tickets on the day or online before hand?

2. If you select online tickets, there was no choice for east or west. Are they valid in either one?

3. If arriving by car on tuesday, can you walk to the campervan fields and stay there? - (with the people you are staying with all week, or do you have to wait til Wednesday Morning?

Ok - So I have been Glastonbury for years at a Volunteer for years, and since being able to get tickets, been based in the campervan fields, so not really understood parking!. We have two campervan pitches, and the remaining people who can't fit in our vehicles are going to drive and meet us in the campervan fields. We have East Campervan tickets, so they want to park in one of the east carparks (to save a long walk!) If they buy them online, are they general tickets that are valid in whichever car park side (east/west)? Or are you allocated a side? - its not clear from the website.

Can you buy them on the gate, to make sure you can park in the right side?

And we will be arriving on tuesday in our campervehicles and the others will be driving in on Tuesday night. I understand that the car parks don't open till 9pm, so the car would arrive then. Once parked, would they be able to walk over and come and join us in the campervan fields?

You can ask Seetickets for a car parking ticket to be added to your order if you haven't already received your tickets. Otherwise you have to pay an extra delivery cost. They are £25.00 or £35.00 on gate. If you want East car parking then they need to follow the Blue route in - the same for camper vans. It is completely random then which car park they end up in so they could be up by B gate. I don't know if they will be able to access camper van fields - you might need to meet them at the camper van field entrances.

As Sedra has said but you will be able to walk through the East campervan fields as they all feed through to Gate C for entry into the festival site. The car parking tickets are generic to allow the traffic/parking marshalls to direct you into whichever colour field dependent on which side of the festival you arrive at.
