Be Chilled Queue and Beer Prices

I don't know if this has been posted before but does anyone know what the queue's are like for the BeChilled service in the campsites? Also is it far from the campsite to the place to pick beer up from?

And finally what are beer prices like in the festival?

Be Chilled is located centrally in the campsite typically, different site this year so that may change. As for ques if you go as soon as it opens in the morning expect some big ques especially on the Friday.

Pint's at bars could be as much as £5 this year.

If you order 24 for example cans at be chilled can you go pick up 12 first thing then 12 later? Or do you have to pick up the 24 in one go.

Not expecting to get 2 at a time but spread them out a little.

Nope, all at once. Me and a friend are sharing the order for this very reason...collecting 12 each a day and splitting them.

Anybody go last year remember the cost of a pint? Add 10 or 20p and you have this years price(normally).

Don't they do a token system anymore then? When I went in 09, you had tokens for a 6/12 pack and you had to swap your confirmation for that (and you could choose get them all at once or when ever you needed them but you'd have to queue twice to get your token, then the beer)

Makes the service a bit pointless if you have to grab it all in one go!

Not really. The point of the service is to save you carrying heavy crates in and allow you to have cold drinks instead of tent warmed ones(alongside them making more money), not a bar. If you want to use the service broken up just gotta split your order between friends. Your order is by day to day anyway, so no biggy.
