Hi,

We've got coach packages this year, and should be arriving at Gate A around 5ish Wednesday afternoon. Ideally we'd like to camp in Cockmill family field, but expect it'll be full by then. Does anyone know how fast Big Ground, Kidney Mead and Row Mead fill up? We'd rather not go for Wicket family field, as it's miles from all the areas we spend most time.

Thanks! :)

Kidney Mead, Big Ground etc. will certainly be full by that time unfortunately. On entrance there are maps which show how much room the sites have, and there are volunteers who will help you and give advice. Never camped on that side, so not sure how long Hawkwell and Michael's Mead fill up, but those are probably better bets. Oxlyers isn't too far either and doesn't fill up as quickly as Park or Pennards, but it's a bit noisy and could well be full by Weds pm.

Thanks for that :) Looks like we'll just have to check with the stewards when we arrive and make a decision then. Definitely want to steer clear of Oxlyers, as we're taking a 2-year-old, and it always seems pretty noisy, even after the Other stage has finished. Worst case scenario, we could always head for one of the quiter fields near gate D, and just accept there'll be a trek to get to the kids field. At least then we'd be nearer to The Park!

Thanks again :)
