yeah 2009 up against Blur. but if the Chemical Brothers and Coldplay have taught us anything, it's that Glastonbury doesn't mind the occasional repeat booking. i'm sure they'd still go down a storm

Saw Rihanna at Radio 1s Hackney Weekend a few years back, 2011 I think. She was distinctly average. Brought on Jay-Z for a few songs and he was even worse.

Either way, really am sorry if that term is particularly offensive (which it appears to be). Did not think that. Always took it to be a fairly amusing and meaningless type of insult - that Bianca might fling at Sharon at Eastenders...

Whilst it's a bit of a shame - I haven't seen any breakthrough UK bands in recent years that are worthy of headline status - so would be very happy to see a Pulp, Radiohead or Roses play. Reckon one of them is pretty likely too.

Not sure about that. They'd be a nostalgia headliner and I'd probably prefer not to hear too much bollocks new stuff.

 

They're not quite like Radiohead or someone who you actually hope/expect to develop. I'm more than happy just to hear the same old stuff

Apparently Ian Brown was telling people at that Dynamo show the other night that new material is on the way and they are by no means finished. Refuse to let myself even think about the possibility after the last 'Roses gate' on here
