This is a great grassroots week long camp in its second year with a real emphasis on getting back to nature with our families. Please help spread the word and come and join! You may have seen the Hedgeucation kids area at other festivals too.
If you have any questions could you try and use the facebook page because although we're trying to keep on top of all the various internet places we might not be able to check back here very often so we're more likely to be able to respond promptly via facebook (or email through the website)

Many thanks and hope to see you there!

Hello my name is Jon and this year at hedge-u-cation The liberty players and I will be building a story telling area called libertalia

Libertalia! Mythical pirate land... a place to create your dreams with complete freedom and creativity... a land to sow the seeds of imagination... a place where everyone can live the life they want to live with complete freedom of expression, respect , unity and no opression, we are all captaians of our own ship, we sail in which ever direction we choose, look after your mates and use what you can, do not litter the sea.

In the week we will have themed days so one day it will be Pirates in adventures with sea creatures, ninjas ect and people can come and make costumes based on the theme of the day, then free form story play will happen follwed by a quick discussion on how the play panned out and if there were any different ways to have played.

In the evening we will have stone soup story by the fire which is food cooking and sharing and while that is cooking each night the liberty players will perform a scene from the play Libertalia which will be holistic and inclusive with anyone welcome to take part, use of herb smells from the raised herb beds incorparated into the area and animals playing a vital part in each scene to bring the idea of creative inclusive play into a story telling enviroment to discover other modes of play.
