National Express Coaches

Apologies if this has already been asked (I couldn't find it anywhere on the page) but does anyone know how long National Express coaches take to get to the festival from London?

Last time I went I left at about 6:30am on the Wednesday from London Victoria and we arrived at Glasto at around 10am. Was inside the gates by 10:15am.

Excellent, I'm leaving from Victoria at 6. Do the See coaches take longer?

Yeah, its about 3 1/2 to 4 hours, and door to door.

At Victoria, be aware it is one big queue, and a near constant stream of buses rolling in, loading up and rolling out. The worst I remember it being is about an hours queue to get loaded and on a bus. But they will call out for anyone who has a ticket for X time every so often (usually about half an hour after the printed leaving time) and take you out of the queue and pile you on the next bus.

So do not panic if you are more than a bit late. You will just queue and get on a later bus.

Anyone know how long the coach takes from Bath and where it leaves from?!

Getting the coach from Wembley at 9 as that was the earliest I think they had. Will I get there in good time to get a spot somewhere generally considered decent?

I actually can't wait for the coach journey, bizarrely.

HELP!!!!!!

 

How likely is it I can get on a coach WITHOUT coach ticket and slip the man/woman some ££ ?? Two of my friends are going via coach and the rest are already there working so I would have to find another way to get there on my own!
