You lot have been hardcore!! i know in theory, nobody deserves a ticket but just through sheer grit and determination, you absolutely deserved a ticket! Fingers crossed we all get those golden tickets next year, meet up on the cider bus and laugh about this whole saga!

Don't worry people, been lurking on here too, unfortunately there was two of us just trying to get two tickets and we missed out in the main sale and resale, both times it sold out whilst entering our credit card details.

I went to every Glastonbury from 1984 till 2014. last year I choose not to go, after 2013, where there seemed to be less festival people and more frat-party goers and I didn't miss it one bit, made sure I avoided any coverage during the weekend and had a party in our garden Saturday night.

I was going to give it a go again this year but its not to be, last two years I've been to End of the Road, fantastic festival, no queues, hot showers, little walking and cool folks.

The glasto see tickets pages get regularly updated long after tickets have been sold out too, you'll get email notifications for the next month...if you follow them and stay on this thread for too much longer you'll lose your job...which I dare say many of us are close to already!

Appropriate title too!

Guys... I'm struggling to get friends to go to festival number 6 (which I've only ever heard good things about).  Given the camaraderie on this forum if people fancy forming a big group of 'friends' who just go together and see what happens... It could either be really good or a bit awkward!  I'm willing to take that risk though...

reply lay here and pm me if interested.

If you can risk the weather, festival No6 is a very nice location for a festival. I've only done day tickets so I don't know what the camping side was like but it had real flushing toilets in the village..... None of those long drop compost loos!!

Come on guys it could just be a standard response. Maybe don't obsess over it as much but is it really going to hurt to leave page monitors on for at least this week (or up to 2 weeks before it starts, as someone has reported buying tickets previously). You'd be even more gutted to miss out if there is another sale now.

Have you got tickets yourself? And with all respect it is highly unlikely.

As someone who regularly struggles to get any of my friends on board to go to festivals and stuff, my recommendation would be (if you don't find people to go with) to volunteer to work at the festival by yourself. It seems rubbish and daunting at first, but you often find loads of people in a similar position, and it gives you the opportunity to socialise with people that turning up by yourself as a punter might not (especially if you're less confident when it comes to meeting new people).

The first time I did it was Leeds 2013 (I'd only been to Reading beforehand) and despite the disgusting amounts of mud and rain, I had a great time and realised going and doing stuff by yourself if sometimes the only way to do what you want to do. Immediately after that I booked a holiday by myself-sure, I'd have loved it if my friends were there but I'd rather go by myself than not go at all!

Having said that, hope you do find some people go with, nothing like having a few extra friends who are up for festivals etc.

Yes I'm trying for the last friends, who've tried and failed in every sale.

I see. I really think it's a good idea to advise them to keep an eye on ticket competitions, a chances of a further sale are next to none.

I'm not giving up just yet, having gotten tickets for friends in the secret sales last year and the year before...
Still feel need to hold on to some hope.

It's not a standard response unfortunately, because people have contacted them before. It has previously been fairly ambiguous, not being able to confirm either way. Seems pretty silly to say 'there will be no more tickets sold' when you could say 'we don't know' for the 1000th time, and not end up having your pants on fire.

I'd be more incline to believe it was a standard response if they had said to keep checking SeeTickets, the fact they have stated that there won't be anymore on sale seems more than just a standard response to me
