CAMPING WITH KIDS ARRIVING FRIDAY

Hi

I have been Glastonbury many times before but this year am thinking about braving it with the kids... a 5 & 3 year old.

my first question is if I arrive on Friday will I be able to camp in any of the family fields ?

or if they are full will there be anywhere else to pitch a tent?

do you think its best to bring a big family tent or 2 small 2 man tents ?

I missed out in October and will try again sunday

we have no one to look after the kids so rather than miss out...take them with

I think the family camping in Wicket Ground normally has plenty of space left. Had loads of free space around us when we were camped in there a few years ago. Cockmill tends to be a lot busier in my experience.

I was just wondering what it was like last year as there seemed to be loads of kids @ glasto

was just thinking if more people every year take kids

Cockmill will be full by Wednesday lunchtime. If you're not able to find a space in Wicket family camping, you'll find that some of the western campsites such as Pylon and Darble will have plenty of space even on Friday. Further from the action but quieter as well.

With a 5 and 3 year old you'll definitely want to check out the Kidz Field, which is over by Cockmill.
