Zero_Newnab
OK, now for the important question. If you're throwing up the Run the jewels gun + fist with your hands... Which way around do you do it? Left hand gun or right hand gun?
jonodillieono
Right hand gun, I was wondering this myself the other day haha. The mirror tricked me into thinking it was the left originally
Guy Incognito
Right hand gun. Seems to be the common approach as most in the crowd at Field Day went with their right hand.
Zero_Newnab
I think right hand gun is correct but left hand gun feels more natural to me.

FloorFiller
Stood next to charlotte church during run the Jewels she seemed nice. Did she know all the words? Was she off her tits? Loved rtj. Seemed genuinely happy to be there. Their couple of little hugs were rather moving. Shame they didn't play Love Again though as that was a definite highlight the last time i saw them. Got Angel Duster though which I was extatic about

willsnewman
I had never listened to Run the Jewels, nor would I consider it my kind of thing but they really put a smile on my face. They seemed so overwhelmed with happiness and everyone was having a great time. Glad I wandered along to that. Then obviously Caribou and Hot Chip were heaven. Mash011
Watching the stream back, god damn they were incredible. Kudos to whoever threw that chain on stage, honestly I think that happening combined with the start of their best song 'Lie Cheat Steal' was probably the peak moment of the festival for me. The camera focuses right in on me for a good 5 seconds while that happens and I think you can see how much of a high I was on there.
jpeee
We stumbled upon Akua Naru pwerforming at the Glade just before RTJ. Fantastic combo, Run The Jewels smashed it, the Sun came out, Good times!
Gregcharlie
Possibly the best three consecutive acts/sets (RTJ, Caribou, Hot Chip) I've seen at Glastonbury. They all absolutely killed it. Edited June 30, 2015 by Gregcharlie
When Jokers Attack
Smashed it, crowds at glasto can sometimes be tame but everyone at RTJ showed up to party.
bethannny
Yeah, smashed it. Was a bit further back than I'd like to be, but I still had a good old dance! Even the sun came out for them. Classy.
dentalplan
Announced for the Warehouse Project, on 30th October. Hopefully as part of a larger UK tour as I'm not so bothered about the rest of the bill so the elevated price doesn't work for me. Not to compare WHP to a normal gig though of course. CaledonianGonzo
But will they bring The Gaslamp Killer along to sprinkle their performance with his indefinable gold dust?
Badlands
What was everyones thoughts on RTJ? I enjoyed them but there seemed to be some issues with the sound, which is rare for West Holts.
CaledonianGonzo
Fun, energetic and a good time all round, but lacked a bit of polish and finesse, with some of the rapping a bit muffled and / or shouty. Crowd were having a ball, though, which was really infectious.
dentalplan
Agree with those points. As it started my heart began to break as I thought the set would be ruined by poor sound but nobody gave a fuck and it was just so much fun. Definitely one of my weekend's highlights. Mardy
just right, good crowd, the sun came out, just worked didn't it? despite the muddy sound/ground. All down to the audience being up for it. If they'd played a year ago, would have been a very different atmosphere
CaledonianGonzo
90% of their set's success was down to using Queen as the opening music - a copper bottomed crowd favourite and good luck talisman for acts using it in 2015.

That's the issue I have with the WHP nights. If I like the main act I'm unlikely to be interested in much else on the bill. RTJ and Carl Craig night after night actually sticks out but the rest that goes with it doesn't. Always wanted to get to a WHP at Store Street. STEVEYBOY
We got near to the front for RTJ. Was one of the few acts we all wanted to see over the weekend. Well worth it. Caught the end of Gaslamp Killer and wish we had caught the full set as he is a real showman
