Best way for drop off/pick up

I was wondering exactly where the drop off point is for Glastonbury? we are planning to come down on a private mini bus from the north west so wondering where the drop off point is? also I've read that it may be roughly 4 miles east away from the festival. Would it be better if we got a mini bus down to glastonbury town centre and get a taxi from there? and if so would this be the best way for the way back with the a361 being closed? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

EDIT: The drop off/pick up is Bath & West Showground and then a dedicated bus will bring you to gate A. You can only enter the festival bus station on one of the official coaches i believe.

up to 2014 a proper mini bus provided the driver applied in advance could enter via the Coach station but that rule was changed for 2015

I quote ' Due to the limitations of the Festival site ALL private hire services for Public passengers must now use the Drop and Collect facility situated off the A 371 close to the festival. Do Not use the festival bus station which is reserved for GF Services and coach packages. Passes will be required to access the coach park all other buses will be turned away and sent to the drop and collect.'
