SteveK
Hey there, She and I will be coming to BDs with our ten week old baby - camping, not in a van. Has anyone got any tips? Thanks!
5co77ie
I'd camp in the family camping rather than the main camping the other side of the arena - okay so you'll need transport to get your little one or sling or similar - if using the latter remember to have sturdy footwear so you don't slip.I think as long as you have the baby changing stuff, warm/waterproof clothes and some ear defenders they should be happy. There's a very little ones play tipi at the bottom end of the kids field usually, and don't forget even babes in arms need tickets.
taff 5
All of our kids are BD's veterans now, and at least two of them had their first experiences there when only a number of weeks old. Its all achievable and loads of fun, aim for the Redwood family camping and you're onto a winner, you'll be surrounded by other families and kids of all ages. Enjoy! ShuMart
We took out daughter to Glastonbury when she was 6 weeks old (only for the day) and used a Babasling to carry her around, that worked well. Normal pushchairs and fields dont mix well, I use a bike trailer to push ours around in now. Never tried the bike trailer with such a small baby but I would imagine you could make it quite comfy with some pillows.
