Exit traffic

There'll be very little traffic at that time. Straight after headliners and after 8am on Monday is a different kettle of fish, but 4am should be fine, especially as you're leaving the smaller Worthy View car park not the main parks.

Just check your route timings on google maps though, to make sure that leaving Pilton at 4am doesn't mean you hit a major city / motorway junction at rush hour!

You'll not get stuck in traffic leaving the festival site at 4am on the Monday. Then according to a search it's a 5 hour 11 minute drive to Holyhead. However, you'll probably need to build in comfort breaks. It might be an idea to pack most of your stuff on the Sunday and take it to the car. This will make it easier for you at 4am on the Monday.

Hi all, I'm driving from Belfast. Getting the boat home from Holyhead on Monday afternoon. What time would i need to leave Worthy View at??? I was thinking 4am??

I left WV car park at around 9/9:30am last year and got out straight away/no queing at all. Didn't hit any traffic until the road that goes past stone henge, 303 i think it is. Not sure how much of a help that will be to you though.

Edit: I think the best route for you will be the A39 towards Bridgwater and pick up the M5. Saying a 5 hour drive on Google Maps. Don't know your crossing time but i would allow 5-6 hours. Google are always a bit generous with there journey times
