Does anyone know of any decent ebooks about Glasto that I could buy/download & where to get them?

I'm mainly looking for books on people's experience of the festival but anything else about the festival would be great too. Cheers.

Here are 3 by Rick Leach who I follow on Twitter, enjoy!

They are all really good books to start with - I enjoyed all 3.

There is another (I'll look it up tonight) by someone who must frequent these forums although I think the book was written as their 15 year old 'dream' of what happens at the festival as opposed to reality (although I could be wrong). I'll look up the name of it later on my kindle - but IMO it was dreadful

Merrion Williams is the author. It's called Glastonbury! The adventures of a man nearing old age and his young daughter at the greatest festival on earth.

A light read, but got a bit boring to be honest

Glastonbury Festival Tales by John Shearlaw - History of the festival year by year until mid 00's, good book and well worth a look. John is head of press for the festival.

I've got Glastonbury - An oral history of the music mud and magic by Crispin Aubrey and John Shearlaw - published 2004. I don't know if that's the same or a different book - or whether one is a re-working of the other. But it's a good read.

Nice 1 folks, I've read the first book by Rick Leach and I'm half way through the 2nd. Fantastic read, local lad too & I can't believe the similarities, especially what he did Saturday night when he left Muse to go see TPSB's then left them to go elsewhere. Coincidentally the same time as me AND he was stood roughly where I was stood for Muse!

I'll give his other 1 a bash too then give the rest a go. Keep them coming if anyone knows of any more. Thanks. :D

I've read the first Rick Leach one, I quite enjoyed it and found it one of the better Glastonbury diaries which are available. I also wrote one based on my experiences of the 2013 festival, it's in a diary style format of what I did over the whole festival. It was a lot of fun writing it and I will hopefully be following up with another one. If you did read it, I would appreciate any feedback you had on it! The link is below.
