Off licence / supermarket near Bristol temple meads

Can anybody let me know the closest to Bristol temple meads ? We are getting train in and before getting taxi we need to stock up on booze. Any help Much appreciated

There's a tesco express 2-5 mins from Temple Meads station, just type Bristol Temple Mead Tesco into Google, if you want to get exact time/ distance, type both postcodes into AA route planner,we stopped at a Tesco one year in the van about a hour outside Shepton Mallet and bought bags of ice and Alcohol

Or you could just get the taxi to call into Tesco in shepton on the way in, only be a few quid extra for the detour, if that.

Theres a shuttle bus that runs from the festival to Tesco, we used it on the Thursday to stock up but I assume it runs all weekend. Was £2 a head. Saves trying to carry everything at once!

There's also an large Asda on East Street, just under a mile away!

Don't bother with the taxi. It will cost an arm and a leg. Come out Temple Meads, walk to the end of the road, look right and there is a bus stop. Wait there for the 376 to Wells. Hop on that, and get off in Wells. You can shop in the Waitrose right by the bus stop, grab a cab and they'll drop you off at the site. Alot cheaper than doing it with a taxi in Bristol. You will be on meter, and if you get caught in traffic, which you are highly likely to do with it being Glastonbury, you could end up paying a fortune.
