DaveIJP
Hi Guys, You may or may not have already seen my post last week. I am currently a university student who is looking in to the personality of Glastonbury festival for my dissertation. In order to do this, I have had to create a short questionnaire (takes no longer than 5 minutes to fill out) to collect data on the festival. If anyone would be able to help me out and complete the survey then it would be a massive help! All age groups are welcome, and it doesn't matter if you've only been to the festival once or if you've been every year, I would love your help! I just need one final push on people answering this survey to get as many responses as possible, so that my results are as accurate as possible! I have recieved lots of positive feedback on my other post and have been told that it is one of the better surveys on here and worth doing. I will be posting any interesting results for you all to see on this thread once I have finished writing them up, so it should be interesting for you guys too! The survey can be completed by following the link below: http:///GlastoFestSurvey Thank-you!
sparkythetortoise
...so that my results are as accurate as possible! If you're looking for a proper breakdown of the demographic of a festival that has been going for as long as Glastonbury, lumping everyone over 50 into the same bracket, and making no provision for people who have retired seems a significant shortcoming to me. But as one of the many old gits, struggling with my zimmer frame in the mud, my care worker keeping a paternal eye on me while I try and find out where Hawkwind are playing, my views can probably be safety discounted. Yeah, the representation of older people over 50 might surprise you.

Hi, there is no reason as to why people who are retired can't take part in the survey. Questions 3 and 4 ask you when you first attended the festival, and when you last attended the festival. Simply select whenever you last attended. There is an 'over 25 years ago' option for both questions, so I don't see any issues with people who no longer attend the festival not being able to complete the survey. Thanks. DaveIJP
All the questions about how you see Glastonbury were positive, you need to balance with negative Hi Matt, You are by all means welcome to put negative words in the comment box that asks you how you feel about the festival. As for the words that you are asked to rate 1-5, they are part of an academic brand personality scale which my dissertation tutor recommended me using, which is why there is no negative in there. Thanks for the advice though!
