Pylon-Routes & Parking

Not getting there until early afternoon Friday so assume most fields are full and Pylon always has a bit of room. Do I go to the trouble of planning my route to get me to the nearest parking or just turn up find a steward at an entrance to tell me where to head and drive round the site ?

You get the choice of heading for either East or west car parks, depending on where you approach from, but after that you won't get a choice of car park at all. For pylon, I would head for West car park but you'll need to be on the route in through Glastonbury for that.

Or you can approach West Car Park via Wells and North Wooton.

Yes, you can if there arent road closures in place and if you dont mind driving down single track twisty roads...

By early Friday afternoon you're likely to be parked a fair way out, as they usually fill the car parks nearest-first. Be prepared for a long walk (maybe plan to bring a trolley to ease the weight of your kit).
