Stupid Novice Question

Sorry if this has been asked thousands of times. When I pay my balance and buy my Campervan field ticket at the same time, are the campervan fields first come best spot or when you pay do you get allocated a spot in the field?

Sorry this is our first Glastonbury.

Not a stupid question at all, you don't get allocated a spot they fill up fields a few at a time and in no particular order so pot luck but if you turn up on Friday I imagine you will be further away, the nearest are family camping

Thanks, we are setting off from Yorkshire on the Tuesday evening, as we don't know what time the gates open and with it been our first

If like other years they open the CV fields open at noon on tuesday

When you buy your campervan pass you'll choose East or West.

They definitely opened the campervan fields on Tuesday lunchtime last year - so you can arrive nice and early and settle in (althouh obviously you can't go into the actual festival until Wednesday morning)
