Hey there folks!

It will be my first time at Reading - just bought one day ticket for saturday. For me line-up is weak at all, but only this day - Metallica, Mastodon, Gojira and Ghost... Just WOW

So there is my first question - what is the chance of clashing Metallica and Mastodon? Both are headliners, but is there any chance they will not clash?

Another one - what is the most affordable way to get there for one day both directions? You think some people will go there by car from London and back? I want to get back just after Metallica show (yeah, what time does headliner usually end?) and I would like to get back as fast as possible, since my girlfriend will stay alone in London

Regards!

TBH I hae no idea :D As I see it's around 60km from REading to London - in Poland where I live I would catch the train and be there around morning probably :D But I may be wrong and it may be faster by car than by train ;) Will there still be trains to finish 'Tallica and go to the trains station calmly ?

I always drive, but I also always go for Weekends. And the car parks are RIDICULOUSLY busy on the Monday. I can't imagine they'd be too much of a pain on the Saturday.

In terms of trains, the last train from Reading to London will be around 1am so enough time for you to make it. But as mentioned, you'll have to walk there (15-25 minutes) plus queues out of the venue (20-40 minutes, depending how far back you are in the crowd).
