Trailer v Bike Trailer for 4 year old

My daughter will be 4 this year so a bit too big for our all terrain buggy, we've been looking at trailers, which my husband would prefer but I know a lot of people also use bike trailers. I've looked on amazon but none of them seem to really have very good reviews - any recommendations? Thanks!

Done both at many festivals and the bike trailer is the hands-down winner.

Big rear wheels much easier for uneven terrain.

Usually lighter as they're designed to be towed.

Better seating position.

Can usually buy a fitted rain cover whereas I had to make them for my trailer (usual garden cart variety)

Bike trailers are often designed to be packed down to some degree for car transport. It takes me ages to put my garden cart together after we've arrived.

Only upside to the garden cart is that it can be customised in very cool ways. Search for the pimp my cart threads.

Thank you so much for your replies.

I think the bike trailer would be better for us but my husband is definitely drawn to the "cool" aspect of the trailer.

Hopefully I'll be able to convince him that a bike trailer would be ok when I let him know about the beer storage!
