Hmmm...

Don't know about this one. There is probably enough to go and see but nothing that'd I really want to see (maybe Rolo Tomassi) but my first thought was about Skindred and are they big enough, I know they're great live but they're Brand New are far bigger and I'd have said that While She Sleeps are bigger (or at least on par). But people seem to be happy anyway with it

Brand New were a massive Headliner for Hit The Deck, it was very unlikely they were going to follow suit this year. Bit of a let down of a Lineup though. May go, but I'm seeing the Cancer Bats / While She Sleeps tour already and was planning to catch The Swellers last London show anyway, leaving just Skindred, A Great Big Pile of Leaves and You Blew It that I want To see. Skindred I've seen a Thousand times at least, I'm certain of that. You Blew it were great when I saw them last year but the only new band for me would be AGBPOL so I am currently Uncertain.

Anybody know if this festival is in trouble? some people on Twitter have been asking if it is going to be cancelled(that was before today's announcement)

They've delayed the second announcement a few times with the promise of a 'special announcement' and finally today added about 10 bands who wouldn't sell out 200 capacity venues. The line up looks considerably weaker than last years. They say that more bands are to be added but there is only four weeks to go.

Hopefully it's not another one to fall.

Yeah, looking a bit bleak.Noticed that they have reduced the amount of stages too.

Just the Fleece,Acadamy and The Thekla this year(most of the bands aren't big enough to play the Fleece on their own)

Skindred, Hacktivist and Cancer Bats is enough to keep me happy(along with checking out the smaller bands).Still a bit pricey at £35 for those three bands though.

Just been given two VIP tickets for this. Few bands worth seeing but I wouldn't have paid £30 for it. Went to Bristol last year but this year it'll be Nottingham, stages are supposed to be closer together in Nottingham. Looking forward to seeing The Xcerts, The Swellers and While She Sleeps.

This did go ahead, albeit a scaled down version with less stages and smaller bands.

Fair play to the organisers, they tried all week to add bands to the bill without success and no-one really complained even though they were promising bands would be added as late as 3 days ago.

It still managed to pull a decent crowd and it was a great day and I'm glad I went.

Good to see the festival wasn't another one to go to the great Festival graveyard in the sky.
