It'll be interesting to see who headlines, Chemical Brothers are doing Bestival but are unlikely as they're also playing Longitude. Hopefully Tame Impala, Underworld and maybe a bigger act like Florence or even Blur.

From the acts that around and not playing an other Irish Festival......I think the potential headliners could be from Underworld, Grace Jones, Florence, Mumford & Sons and Blur(which I 'm really hoping for)

I'm hoping for Blur too but Mumford seem a bit more likely looking at their dates also I think The Strokes could be a possibility.

Read on a City forum tonight that The Stone Roses are rumoured to be a EP. I have no information apart from the rumour that was posted. I just had a read on here to see if there were any murmurings.

Hope it's not Mumfords, they wouldn't inflict Florence AND Mumfords on us, would they?

Thinking there may be a reason why they're holding off announcing the third headliner, maybe to tie in with another announcement by the same act?

Good news the Electric Picnic Twitter tweeted a few days ago that the second announcement will be on early May, I presume the announcement date will be 6th May as EP never make announcements on bank holiday Monday for some reason. Lots of people in the EP forum on Boards.ie reckon Blur is going to be announced as a headliner as they haven't announced an Irish date as yet for their new tour, so fingers crossed for that.

The Strokes, Mumford & Sons and Kasabian have no Irish dates this year yet either. I'm hoping for Blur but I'm not sure if they'll do it.

Muse became a possibility as well, since it turned out they are headlining Bestival

Personally I hope Blur takes the final headline slot, even tough I would be happy with Muse as well.
