I stayed at the Desperados stage all day:

Survay Says - apart from spelling Survay incorrectly, these were great.

Patent Pending - a good laugh - enjoyed it

Big D - Big disappointment - had good memories of these from the Leeds fest, but didn't feel it.

Lightyear - poor - made worse by Chas' mum (lead singer) being stood next to us, saying how great it was!

Mariachi - fab!

Zebrahead - decent enough

Goldfinger - annoying delay, PA issues, but when they got going it was a good ole singalong!

Millencolin - played the ones I knew but were ok

Reel Big Fish - only stayed for first few, as had to get back - would have seen more but the delays in the day screwed it up. Ones we saw were great, wanted more.

Had a great day and got to see most of the bands I wanted too, despite not going in until 2 because the queue was huge!

Saw Knuckle Puck, Pvris, Beartooth, Neck Deep, Bury Tomorrow, Lower Than Atlantis, Don Broco, Taking Back Sunday and You Me At Six.

Really pleasantly surprised by Pvris having only recently got into them and You Me At Six playing the older stuff was so, so good!

Long may the festival continue. Seems to get good acts high up across the stage and is well organised.

Absolutely wish I had been able to go to the Leeds date. I had originally planned to go but something quite important came up that meant I would no longer be able to.

Some of the footage from Millennium Square looked incredible. Don Broco looked on form, and YMAS' setlist was the stuff of dreams (they opened with my favourite ever song by them ) Slam Dunk seems the most incredible value for money festival going. Really hoping that I can attend next year.

Slam Dunk is a festival where I love the line up but it always during an inconvenient time for me. Anyway I'm kinda of glad I do go this year as I some how managed to hurt my back on Thursday and I couldn't stand for more than 5 minutes before it got painful on the Saturday and I wouldn't have enjoyed it at all
