not far off Wembley sell out - all gone in a day isn't bad - so if they don't announce an extra date that surtely would make glastonbury more likely?

think with the werchter reshuffle for a band only available that weekend its almost a giving anyway huh.

close to 180,000 tickets in just over 2 hours ? thats crazy

anyone else ever sold wembley that quickly ?

Lots of bands have sold out Wembley as quick as this. I think Take That have sold the most and quickest amount of tixs at Wembley.

pretty sure they're tour was so many dates (3) that they didn't all go in the first day - wasn't it the Saturday when the first lot went, so they extended more dates on the Tuesday (6) those took longer to sell out (a week?)

They then added two more in December ( 8 ) - one of which I don't think sold out

Unless you were talking 2009? Where I don't think, but can't remember that they went in a day. Thay hold the record for the most amount of tickets though

Can't remember myself but did Muse in 2010 sell quicker?

Looking at records on here:

the Saturday ones were all gone by 11am, making them the fastest for one day I think, Madonnna was 4 days, Metallica, Eminem, Roger Waters, and The Killers were much longer.

Will Ed Sheeran beat them all?

It was 2009 (on sale in 2008) I was talking about, I was working in an office on release day where 6 of the girls were constantly trying to get tickets only to hear them (literally) scream they were sold out all fucking day long for the orginal Wembley dates and then I had to listen to them scream (again) when the extra dates where added.

Quick google search and I found this article;

Foos at Wembley on the 20th were all gone by 3pm so that's 5 hours too (started at 10pm - though they had pre-sale to help), so Muse at 2 hours are the festest of all time I guess Edited by 5co77ie

I'm pretty sure Take That's Wembley dates were sold out before 1pm, I remember doing to the pub during my lunch break and bantering with the girls about how they didn't get tixs. I may be wrong and there was a few odd tixs still on sale though.

I think it looks okay.. have to say I didn't really give it any thought so can't say i'm either pleased or disappointed! Will keep an eye on their setlist tonight though!

Idk I was just expecting somehing as visually interesting as Wembley 2008?

Maybe they'll improve it for the Wembley dates next month.
