Anyone attended the Deer Shed festival?

I know i'm asking in the wrong forum but was hoping for some advice on whether it would be as suitable a first festival for a 6 year old as Kendal would be?

Having attended Kendal the last few years i know that its very family friendly and that my daughter would love it. Selfishly i also know that taking her would seriously cut down on the music and associated fun i would see.

Would taking her to Deer shed as a family then doing Kendal on our own make us bad parents?

Thoughts appreciated cheers.

I think your plan is a good one.Never been to Deer Shed and not sure where you are in the world but Wickerman does all the kid friendly stuff that you get at KC and the line up is never as good so not as much for you to miss !!

It`s the weekend before so you could do the double and leave your daughter at home for KC. Your 6 year old would have a great time at Wickerman. Family camping, loads of room to run about and plenty other kids in the camping and in the main arena. They have a kids entertainment tent and ( sadly ) all the fairground type stuff.
