All downhill after Glastonbury 94

Hehe, the idea of going out at the pinnacle is an intriguing one, even if it could be identified at the time. But then, who could resist trying to top it?

I was there in 94, as a wide eyed 16 year old. It had a lasting impact, pun intended, but plenty of good nights out with them since.

---

Snivilisation, for me, not that anyone asked. I still play it regularly.

Maybe would have been fitting for one last show? I loved them on Arcadia in 2011.. it worked so, so well.

indeed, Orbital at Arcadia in 2011 ranks up there in top Glasto experiences for me :)

In fairness, that was a DJ set so it's not out of the realms of possibility that they could do it again (or you could just go and see one of them DJing).

Lucky enough to have seen them live a few times including Glasto. Very sad news but as previously mentioned there is always possibility for the future as this has happened before.

They both seem to enjoy doing their solo gigs and I'll be sure to follow them both. Paul has already got a new album coming out in Feb '15 under the new guise of 8:58 http://www.eightfiftyeight.com/

It would be good if either one could be slotted into the bill for 2015.
