A camping stove or camping cooker, I wouldn't say they are essential but do you like to bring one? Helps if you fancy a brew or a cheeky tin of Heinz beans of an early evening I guess.

An old fashioned Trangia is my godsend at a festival, its constantly on the go for morning brews, late evening cuppas and hot washes for us and our mates.

Love being able to make tea and a bacon sarnie from the comfort of our campsite in the morning. The smell of bacon cooking definitely helps clear the cobwebs!

Stove for the kettle and occasional toastie. Disposable bbqs for first night/sausage and/or bacon butties - safely used (on top of stove to avoid scorching grass) and safely disposed of (when cold).

I'm half tempted now to purchase one, do love a bacon sarnie and cup of tea in the morning

I'd recommend a gas one for speed and ease, but yes a must for me for morning and bedtime tea. It's a long way to the tiny tea tent

A camping stove and one of these:

Fold flat toaster. Somehow toasting bread adds so much. Toast and marmalade, toast and pate etc.

We take a plastic box (one of those ones that can stack) and pop it on the top of the trolley. It has our little stove in it, spare gas, coffee sachet things, along with other things to fill it up - flags and bungees, tissues etc. Its become a bit of a festival essential for us - packing it the optimum way takes several attempts after we restock it when we get home!
