Is it true if you are say in Australia, it is far easier to get tickets than here in the UK?

Friend of ours who's in our group will be trying for tickets in Australia, does this matter?

Others are saying it does matter,she is a UK resident but is on holiday in Australia. if successful she will be a lead booker with a UK address, all UK addresses.

Does she need to use a debit or credit card????????

really? I'd check that again, unless she is definitely using a debit card. It's always been dependent on where the lead booker is registered not where you are booking from that counts as to what card you use.

I am international and book by credit card, putting myself as lead booker and add any UKers in our group then.

When the UKers book for me they are lead booker, use a debit card and add me to their booking.

Having said all that there were reports some UKers were successful booking by credit card but the way above is how it's supposed to work.

OP no there were 8 people trying half got through and half didn't. A poster here who lives in the same country as me said he hasn't got through since 2009 or something
