Thank you , seriously though, the more the merrier trying for each other... So,would rather be helping someone tomorrow evening than at my regular yoga class in downward dog thinking of everyone pressing F5 and knowing I could be helping in some small way :-)

I've not been a forum member here before,however for the last 4 years have spent many a night searching thru the Glastonbury threads, I attended in 2010 and 2011, however since have had bad luck with ticket sales! I'm all prepared to try my luck again tonight, if I get lucky I'm more than willing to help anybody that is in need! I know how heartbreaking it is to see the sold out screen flash before your eyes!

I will also be available on Sunday to help if I'm successful myself tonight. X xx

So how does this helping work? Do you pay the deposit on behalf of the other person and then get paid back or are debit card details changing hands?

I've wondered the same thing. The people I'm helping have sent me their entire details, which is incredibly trusting of them. They're in safe hands with me, but it's a big risk to take.

Where others are helping me, I've sent them the money for deposits ahead of time so they can use their own card to pay for us all. If I get through but they don't, they can send the money back to me. It's still a risk but the potential loss is fifty quid as opposed to all of my financial details.

if they're a friend (or friend of, someone i can track down irl and vice versa) i take the details upfront. if we don't really know each other i take a phone number to get those details when i'm on the page. this might slow things down but it's slightly more comfortable.

I've got everyone's phone numbers , but no card details .... I would hate to take peoples card details and then something happens that is totally unrelated .... I have phone numbers so people are contactable .... I'll probably pay the deposits and then ask for a transfer straight away ..... Too trusting maybe , but hey gotta have faith, and most people that have pm'd me are super regular posters

I got through for all 4 people I had registration details for - and all 4 said that the registration number had already been used - so I am so pleased for them all (if its true)

I have heard from two forum members and they did indeed secure their tickets - really hoping the other two did as well
