Coach and Worthy View

Going to try for about 8 coach tickets this week, for friends and family, we intend using Worthy View this time as I didnt really enjoy the motor home experience last year, and am leaving it at home, two of us will be going from Taunton and the rest from Liverpool. How difficult is it to get to Worthy View, from the drop of point.

It's a bit of a hike, from Gate A top left to Pennard Hill Gate - bottom middle: But fairly easy until you reach the last bit apparently. Though of course you won't be rushing to save a space and the concessions will be open.

Thanks for that, the walking doesnt really bother us, and as you say there is no rush to find find a tent pitch plus we wont have to carry all the camping equipment either, hopefully we can get tickets, should we not get our coach tickets, we will have to try for standard tickets, but still use the Worthy View option, only using own cars. So fingers crossed for coach tickets

yes there is but as to how frequent it is I don't have a clue ' although if it was me I would wait ' as that is a long old walk

SHUTTLE BUS ACCESS FROM CASTLE CARY TRAIN STATION

For 2014 we have arranged a free direct shuttle bus from Castle Cary Train Station to Worthy View. This service will be signposted Worthy View and is service GF4.

• Wednesday 8:00am – 23:00pm

• Thursday 8:00am – 23:00pm

• Friday No direct service, please transfer from Festival Bus Station

• Saturday No direct service, please transfer from Festival Bus Station

• Sunday 12:00 (midday) – 19:30pm

• Monday 6:00am – 15:30pm
