Matt42
So this thread is for acts that have confirmed new material (so new songs etc / albums confirmed) Kendrick Lamar looks like he's ready to release his follow up to M.A.A.D City, one of the best 'new' hip hop albums i've heard in a long time. https://twitter.com/kendricklamar/status/512283645965373440 http://www.nme.com/news/kendrick-lamar/79831 Would like him to play the pyramid or high other stage, but this next album might propel him to an even bigger status, and may become too big for a 4th down / 3rd down slot. Regardless, i'd like to see him in the fields of worthy.
plaskins
Noel Gallagher, he should have a new single out this year. I'm guessing he will be touring the festival circuit next summer. edit: none if this is confirmed. Muppetmark
Prince. 2 new albums. He probably won't play but I'd love it so much if he did
not worthy
One step louder than Metallica - the glorious sound (roughly missing out albums 3-6) of Machine Head will return with a new album Oct/Nov

5co77ie
If the more talented of the two Gallaghers was to be booked - where would he play do we think?By all accounts the new album will be corking.
StevieMcK
Foo Fighters! Please let them have a headline slot on the Pyramid!!!
Ged Devereux
Gaslight anthem new album just out and touring in November, not played the festivals over here for past two years.
Winslow Leach
ROBYN I would absolutely love for Robyn to play next year. I always find it hard to judge her popularity though, high up on Other maybe?

TomViolence
Weezer, The Cure, Alabama Shakes and The Prodigy. Belle & Sebastian are in the studio too, would love them to play but they seem to be rumoured to play every year! It's possible The Dead Weather might release something too
Festival Liam
I would absolutely love for Robyn to play next year. I always find it hard to judge her popularity though, high up on Other maybe?I would love to see her headline John Peel. She played second there in 2010. I think if her new album is of the moderate success I expect it to be, with one big single, she could headline JP. Otherwise yeah 3rd on other or maybe just shoved early pyramid like they seem to randomly do these days.
kingcrawler
The Maccabees have a new album coming out soon, I can see them getting a decent slot next year. Johnny Marr and TV On the Radio could play as they've both got albums out later this year. I'm hoping The Twilight Sad play next year as well as they've got a new album out next month but I can't see it happening sadly.

I don't blame you for blocking it from your memory though. http://www.nme.com/news/kasabian/79814 Bombastic new album (Though the actual quote is not quite what they said on the Radio this morning really, I wouldn't call that working on a new album anyway )

By all accounts the new album will be corking. his first album was fantastic, and I think it actually was a massive kick in the teeth to anyone who thought that he'd roll out as shit as liam. Hope he's a pyramid sub, I think it would be fantastic, and I hope you're right that this album is a corker.

willutalk
Cliff No, just no 1) I don't think he would work anyway 2) After this dodgy stuff even more no ----- Different post------ I think regarding an appearance of any Gallacher bros. I'd prefer an Oasis slot. Not NGHFB or Beady Eye. On Sunday night I think it'd work best.
