There's still the familiar air of despair about things, the lovely dark, reverby guitar and vocals, ghostly atmospherics, it's just some of it's a bit more driven and up-tempo. I think it's the best record they've made since arguably Turn On The Bright Lights

I pre-ordered the Vinyl and trying to resist listening to the streams so apart from the two singles which I love I haven't heard the rest of the album.

I have tickets for the Manchester show in February at Manchester Albert Hall which for anyone who hasn't been is a fantastic new venue. I saw Tame Impala play there and it's an atmospheric, intimate venue which will be a superb setting for a band like Interpol.
