Bestival-weather
Hi folks, With all this horrible weather around at the moment and rumours to what it is going to be, then I thought I would post my forecast based on GFS modelling. This model changes 4 times a day and trying to predict so far in advance is not easy. This is the general forecast that I will update when there is any major variation. There seems to be a very high percentage chance of high pressure building from Wednesday (3rd) through to Monday of the Bestival (8th). Thursday and Friday looks like very little cloud and low winds with temperatures around 20c (or maybe higher). Saturday is likely to have some showers and similar temperatures. Sunday is looking a little more breezy with chance of night time showers. Monday is not looking so good. Night times will be chilly especially under clear skies. As we get nearer the Bestival, a more accurate forecast can be given and if you do not know, the Isle of Wight does have unique weather variations that are not taking into effect on national forecasts or web based forecasts. So all in all, it is looking VERY promising
