MichaelDoyle
Looking at doing this after Glastonbury next year. I'm on a 2 week shutdown in work when it's on. Reserved a hotel in central Chicago last night for the dates the festival's on at a cheap price, I can always cancel and not have to pay if I don't go but was worth doing. All I was going to ask was a few questions about it: - First of all, what's it like as a festival? - How do you go about getting tickets and is it easy to get them? - What are the prices like in and around Chicago for food/drink etc. - Is there plenty to do in and around the city while the festivals on? Such as afterparties... - Finally, what's it like compared to the major UK festivals? I like the idea of it being in the centre of the city without camping, the idea of a shower and a bed is very appealing. Any help would be great, cheers! Superscally
It's not a festival. It's like a Hyde Park gig, with a very big line up. Clash nightmare. Tickets are fairly easy to come by. Chicago is fairly expensive - more expensive than London to get pissed, cheaper to eat. Shitloads to do in the city. Finally, it's not a festival. Oh hang on, I said that.
