If we're wishing for things I'll take:

TOOL- Headlining the Other Stage

Patti Smith- Park stage

The Gene Clark No Other Band- Park stage

David Byrne- Headlining West Holts

Lauryn Hill- West Holts

Bob Dylan- Legends slot (playing a greatest hits set on the guitar- very unlikely I know)

Anything else would be a bonus.

Headliners-wise:

Any of Led Zeppelin/Prince/Radiohead/Muse headlining Pyramid

Tool/NIN headlining Other (subbed by Soundgarden/Faith No More)

Sigur Rós headlining Other

PJ Harvey headlining a stage (Other? Park?)

Tom Waits headlining West Holts

The Cribs headlining The Park

MBV headlining The Park

(Obviously only 3 of these listed above, or the clashes would murder me)

Plus Nick Cave and QOTSA subbing, with The National also on the undercard.

A ticket for me and my gf.

Beyond that, in an ideal world...

A few acts I haven't seen at Glasto before:

* Super Furry Animals

* Belle and Sebastian

A few I've never seen anywhere before:

* Joanna Newsom

* Tom Waits

* Daft Punk

One I regret missing this year:

* Tinariwen

And a headliner that's never going to happen:

* Robert Plant coming back with his other pals, or

* Pink Floyd (even without Roger Waters)

Oh I don't really have that much to suggest apart from:

The Park
Mother Hips - nice chilled US West Coast rock in the West Country sunshine.

Kevin Drew - Sounding good without Broken Social Scene.
Besnard Lakes - Time for a prog/psychedlic freakout.
Of Montreal - with their Ziggy Stardust encore brought into main set. Kevin Barnes could then play on Acoustic later.
Kid Congo & The Pink Monkey Birds
Holy Holy - Tony Visconti, Woody Woodmansey, Glenn Gregory & Mr Norman the sax player from Spandau Ballet playing Bowie's The Man Who Sold The World in full just as they're about to round these London parts.

Ryan Adams
Chad VanGaalen
Low
Neko Case

Acoustic
Neil Halstead
Neal Casal
Neil Hannon
Neil from Young Ones
Neil Young (yeah right!)

West Holts
David Sylvian

Pyramid
Bowie, AC/DC & The Style Council (you heard it here first!)
Jon & Vangelis - Jon can have a little sit down while Vangelis plays the Bladerunner theme
Billy J or Barry G for legend slot. Or Burt B. Or Tears for Fears.
Feist
St Vincent - deserved promotion after great Park performance.
Vintage Trouble
Blue Nile
Penguin Cafe - early slot on Sunday.

Crow’s Nest
Luke Haines (will he sing or give a talk? We'll just have to hike up there to find out...)

John Peel
The Wedding Present - Still can't believe the 'boy Gedge' hasn't yet graced the JP Stage. JP would not be amused.

Broken Bells - If they've not parted their ways to do their individual stuff again.
Mogwai - Return a year later to headline here.

What on earth have I just gone and done? Oh the humanity, just think of the clashes. The terrible terrible clashes.

A ticket, all else is a bonus.

I can probably get into this making big lists of bands malarky in the Autumn when it gets further away from the festival, but right now the overriding memories of Glastonbury aren't the ones of bands, just the festival itself. A ticket is all I need, a line-up would be nice, but not essential.
