kaisherz
Hey guys, Myself and 3 others will be arriving Friday night about 9ish... I basically want to know if it'll be fairly easy to pitch up 3 tents at this time, and understand more than likely it'll have to be in 'white'. Just want some re-assurance basically!! Thanks
Babyquack
You should be able to squeeze into a fairly okay spot in Brown but that's about as close as you're gonna get at that point in the weekend. I camped in brown last year out of choice as my friends wanted actual sleep and it had a nice, friendly atmosphere so it's not a bad place tbh. Hope that helps somewhat
kaisherz
Thanks Quack =) I'm not too bothered about distance to be honest. I as just unsure how busy it is generally as I've never camped Reading. We've bought White Car Park tickets, so we'll just pitch up first available spot we find. So it shouldn't be a problem then? We've finalised on 2 popup 3 man tents between the 4 of us.
TenInchToenaiIs
#BROWNTOWN Camping in brown was brilliant last year and there will probably be space in there somewhere
6t6o6m
There will probably be quite a lot of space at the back of white near the parking. Miles from the arena though,
kaisherz
You say miles.... but is it? Lol. we're gonna be spending the time there in the Arena and will probs not need to go back to tents at all... And it's not comparable in size to Glasto, where we were camped probably about a 20 min walk to the cloeset main stage (the other). Its gotta be what, half hour, max, if that? If its dry obvs? 6t6o6m
Ok, not miles. But as far as you can be from the arena. I'm camping at the back of brown as I don't want to be on top of the arena. Hopefully get some space and be surrounded by people wanting to relax instead of partying through the night.
